Is this therapy?

No. This is nervous system coaching rooted in science, mindset work, and body-based regulation. Traditional therapy is a top down approach, where we use a bottom up approach. Being that stress, trauma is held in the body, we utilise the breath to first of all tell the body it is fine, before integrating mindfulness and self-talk.

My partner might not understand why I want to do this?

Totally valid, that’s why part of this work involves learning to clearly communicate your needs and vision for your family.
